The New Union Males’s Group is promoting tickets for one pound of barbecue. Price is $15 and consists of slaw, cake and dip. Pickup at New Union Church on Saturday, March 2 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m For tickets and extra data, name 336-345-3672.
New Union welcomes all to Sunday College at 9 a.m. and Worship Service at 10 every week. The Blessing Fund is prepared for these in want. Youngsters Energy Hour each Wednesday from 6:30-7:30 p.m
Worship service is held at Ijames Baptist Church each week at 10:30 AM. Ijames collects non-perishable objects for a blessing field on the church grounds. Ijames TeamKid for ages 3 to fifth grade and the youth group for grades 6 to 12 will meet each Sunday from 5 to six p.m. Grownup Bible Examine is held Sunday evenings at 5. Everyone seems to be invited. Youngsters’s Choir for ages 2-12 meets Sundays from 4:30-5.
A time of prayer is held at Liberty Wesleyan Church each Sunday at 9:30 a.m., adopted by Sunday College at 10 and worship at 11. Choir follow takes place each Wednesday at 7.
A party was held on the Farmington Group Heart Thursday for Tom Kornatzer who turned 92 on Thursday the eleventh. Everybody loved the birthday cake, cupcakes and a big number of snacks. Tom thanks everybody for making this present day particular. Particular company had been his son, Rick Kornatzer, his girlfriend, Audrey, and his sister, Peggy Foster.
Jam periods are held each week on Mondays at Eddie’s Place in Cool Springs from 6-9:30 p.m. BoTyme Jam is held Thursdays from 6:30-8:30 p.m. on the Farmington Group Heart. Admission to Farmington is $3, however admission for musicians is free.
Native musicians carry out Friday evenings from 6 to eight at MawMaw’s Restaurant on US 601 S., Mocksville.
